Who am I?
Sophie Hearfield
I am 19 years old and I love making things. I’ve recently discovered how much I enjoy digital art and 3D modelling, and I realised I could combine those with my love for video games and make art for new games!
I realised life is too short to get a job just to fund the things I enjoy, and that I could have a job doing those things instead.
My experience:
ART
I am learning to use Blender to make 3D characters for use in animations and video games. I am also using it to recreate the models for the mobs from one of my favourite games, Minecraft. I am experienced with the 2D digital art program Procreate and I love to paint. I managed the set department for a play at my secondary school. I won second place at an art competition in yr 12.
OTHER
I have 3 A-levels: maths, physics and further maths. I tutor one day a week at the maths department at my old secondary school, and I work at my local library on Saturdays. I took part in GCHQ’s CyberFirst competition (a competition based on cybersecurity knowledge) in 2018, and my team of 4 came second place nationally.

I installed WordPress on my website and used it to create this site to function as my portfolio. It was my first time doing anything like this, and I’m really pleased with the experience it’s given me and the things I’ve learned.
